We have big news in our house hold. Today R7 walked down to the front of the church during the invitation and told the preacher he wanted to accept Jesus Christ as his savior.
He made this decision Thursday night at VBS. Today he made it public to everyone at church this morning. Hubs and I are proud of him.
When Hubs asked him if he was nervous about going up front he said no not at all. What peace Jesus has bestowed on my 7 year old. He was cool as a cucumber standing in the front. He smiled and shook everyones hand and thanked them. Then in true 7 year old fashion, as the last hand was shaken, he looked at me and stated he was ready to go because he was hungry.
R7 I am proud of you! I can not wait to see you be baptized. I am excited to watch you grow in your faith. I am proud to be apart of it.
But mostly I am blessed that God chose me to be your mother.
