Yesterday I attended a funeral. I have attended a few funerals in my time but today my heart is still saddened by this one.
Jacob Langston, the son of a former co-worker was killed this past Wednesday.
Jacob was only 17. He was in an accident with an 18 wheeler.
Tammy, his mom, got up and spoke during the service. I don't know how in the world this woman could do this. I would be on the floor in a pile.
While the service was beautiful and filled with a ton of flowers and high school students, the one thought that kept coming to my mind was a parent should not have to bury their child. A parent should never have to go through that.
Please pray for this family. Their road ahead is long. I pray God will give them the peace and comfort they need.

What a hard, hard thing. I can't even let my mind go there. I will pray for them!
This just made my heart break. Oh my goodness. I will pray for that family today. I just can't imagine losing a child. So sad.
