Happy Mother's Day-early! I hope each of you have a day full of family and love.
Thanks everyone for the sweet emails and prayers!
I'm feeling better and I'm still adjusting to the changes regarding my job. There are still more to come. I'm still praying that God shows me all the doors he has opened and leads me to them. He has already shown me some and I am so thankful.
With that said I'm going to move forward and get back to the things I love. The three B's...(my) boys, baseball, and blogging.
I mentioned while I was away on my break that we had a turtle. Well R4 found it in our drive way. The first time I have ever seen one since we moved in 8 years ago.
He came running into the house and told me to get my camera and I obliged him and followed him outside to look at what he desperately wanted me to take a picture of.
Check these out...
R4 thought it looked hungry and asked if we could feed it, so I gave it some lettuce.
And by morning the turtle was gone and so was most of the lettuce.

How cute~ My son found a turtle a couple of years ago, it wa little. We kept it and put it in an acquarium and fed it for about 2 years!! The turtle got huge and it got harder and harder to keep that acquarium clean! So~we gave him away to someone with a BIGGER aquarium!
Be glad yours wandered off...with the lettuce!
Lou Cinda :)
in the far away picture i thought the lettuce were turtle guts and thought someone had ran over him!
hope you have a great mother's day!!
Turtles are reptiles...
Thanks Bill Nye, I changed my title.
I bet that thrilled R4! Have a Happy Mother's Day too!
Precious turtle! Lettuce would be my first choice of turtle food too!
You are so smart! I didn't even know that turtles ate lettuce!
